Faith in Action

Throughout the year, the children dedicate time and energy into thinking about other groups in our community who might need support. They run fundraising activities which support the work of the wider community.

Our GIFT Team

(Growing in Faith Together)

 

Our GIFT team have a very important job to spread the Word of God throughout our school and the school community.

 

Across school we have many children from different classes who are working hard to build the faith of their peers and our families by spreading The Good News. They are a group of dedicated pupils with different talents and things that they enjoy. You may see them around school leading prayer and worship, partaking in meditation and discussing current issues involving people around the world.

At the start of every academic year, children apply in writing to become a member of the GIFT team to signifiy the importance of the role. 

The GIFT team are responsible for changing the liturgical colours around school, contributing to the planning and delivery of class, key stage and whole school liturgyvand leading whole school 'Faith in Action' initiatives. The GIFT team are currently putting together liturgical bags in each of our seasons that our classes are able to take home and share with their families so that they can pray together and deepen their connection with God. 

 

Our GIFT team meet up with other GIFT Teams from local schools, working together for the common good.
