Breakfast and Afterschool Club

Our Before and After School Club is open Monday – Friday (term-time only)

We provide high quality out of school child care for the children of Sacred Heart RC Primary School and Nursery in the form of Breakfast and After School Club. It provides a range of stimulating and creative activities in a safe environment. The clubs are led by members of the school staff. Our aim is to establish an Out of School Club where everyone is made welcome and valued. We are fully committed to working in partnership with parents/carers to provide high quality, safe and stimulating care, play and learning opportunities for children.

Breakfast Club 7.45 – 8.45 am (Cost £1 per Morning)

After School Club 3.15 – 5.30pm (Cost £2.00 until 4.00pm and £6 until 5.30pm)

Admissions:

The out of School Club is open to children who attend Sacred Heart RC Primary and Nursery School. Places are offered on a first-come first-served basis. If all places have been filled a waiting list will be established, with the following order of priority:

Siblings of children already attending the club
Those requiring the greatest number of sessions/hours per week

A copy of the Sacred Heart RC Primary and Nursery School out of School Club Policy is provided to all parents/carers of children attending the club. Parents/carers will also be able to view the policy on the school website.

All parents must complete a registration form for each child attending the club and sign an agreement to adhere to the terms of the policy.

Bookings and Additional Fees

Bookings for before and after school club should be completed through ParentPay. Fees are payable in advance and must be paid for agreed days, even when a child is absent. All places are subject to availability. Late payments may result in the place at the out of school club being withdrawn.

The registration process and agreement forms must be completed before the child’s commencement at the club.

Pupils can use the club on an adhoc basis provided booking, registration and agreement forms have been completed and there are spaces available.

Children must be collected by 5.30pm, or a late fee may apply.

Policies and Procedures

Our Breakfast and After School club is run by staff from school to support our children and families. All school policies that apply to Sacred Heart RC Primary School and Nursery also apply to our before and after school club.
We reserve the right to withdraw a place from a child who is felt to be a danger to other children or who impedes the effective running of the club.

All contagious diseases must be notified to staff in advance.
