This is a comic for you to read with your child. It contains 'oy, 'ir', 'ue' and 'aw' phonemes that your child should know. Ask them to list all the digraphs they can find and record them into their workbook.
The above link will take you to a page on Twinkl that has lots of interactive learning opportunities.
Year 1 learning at home.
- Each day you should complete one page from your maths booklet and one page from your comprehension booklet.
- Complete a book review of your reading books and write it in your home learning book.
- If you can, try to do the P.E. sessions with Joe. Ask your parents or carers to join in too!
- Once a week - it would be good to write a short diary entry of anything that you have been doing. You could also add a picture on the page if you want.
Encourage your child to complete tasks daily. These can be done at your discretion as I am aware that you may have other children as well as work and family to commit to.
High expectation is essential, so always try to ensure your child produces work that is as neat as they can make it.
