This week we have enjoyed our last forest school session where we saw a fainy's breath on a tree. We hunted for a troll's treasure then buried it. We have loved all our forest school sessions.

For the past fortnight we have been enjoying learning all about the Olympics.
In the first theme week the children learnt all about the Olympics. They learnt about the colours of the Olympic Rings, why they are those colours and what order the colours are. They used their hand prints to make giant Olympic Rings and also used playdough to make the Olympic Rings. The children learnt about the Olympic torch and each made their own torch. they enjoyed watching some races and learnt about all the different sports that they can watch during the Olympics.
Click on the link below to see the children taking part in lots of different activities during the second week of sports week. The children had an amazing experience.
On Wednesday 6th July Reception class went to the beach with the rest of the school. They spent the day digging in the sand, getting buried, throwing frisbees and playing football. We even had some gymnasts practising cartwheels! After lunch they enjoyed an ice cream which was delicious. All the children had a fantastic time and some of them were fast asleep on the coach home to prove it!
